Dear Praying Friends -
   We made a last minute change to this Prayer Letter as we heard from Sheila late today. Her husband, Cesar, is a blind evangelist who has suffered with TB for years and been hospitalized many times. thru your kind gifts, we were able to assist them financially last week with their large bill. We have added a picture of them taken when John went to visit at that time. Due to the high costs, we got them into a Government Heart Lung center for the poor this week. Sheila called today to say that Cesar was just discharged with untreatable TB - too much damage to his lungs, which are in horrid shape. They sent him home to die. Please PRAY for them and for us to have WISDOM in how to help and proceed from here.

   Tomorrow, Friday, is Pastors Dental 'Party' Day!!  We have arranged to cover the costs , Thanks to YOU, for our Morong Pastors to have Cleaning, fillings and/or teeth pulled, 3 hours from here at John's country dentist - Dr. Mercado. He is a great guy and does good work. Please PRAY for the men to be a living witness to him as he is a devoted Catholic. They were at loss for words when John announced our intentions to take care of their Dental needs...amazed that anyone would do that for them!

   I was attacked suddenly by some strep bacteria early Monday, with throat, ear and headache "i think I'm gonna die' kind of pain. John got me some Amoxicillin Monday nite but had to leave town Tues. to work on a Youth Camp reorganization project 7 hrs north for a few days and I continued to worsen. I then noticed this Amox had no trademark 'penicillin' odor when opening the caps and mixing into applesauce & the powder was crusted hard into one end as well...so  a dear friend came to my rescue and bought some other brand at another pharmacy Wed aft... and VOILA - within 4 hours, I changed my funeral plans!! Tonight/Thurs, John is home & I can now almost swallow  w/o noticing!  Headache & ear infection nearly gone! Praise GOD! From now on, we'll do a smell-check for the REAL thing b4 buying!
