WEDDING ANNIVERSARY: 11/11/78 Praise the Lord the Hines have made it to South Africa safely and are already becoming orientated to the work there. Pray with us for them as they serve the Lord in South Africa.
10 March 2010 (Email update from the Hines)
Dear Faithful Prayer Partner:
Thank you for praying for the needs here in South Africa. For this week please pray for the following.
(1) Its official. Mike and Marie are now in the states on furlough. Praise the Lord for their safe arrival. Pray for us as we continue the ministry here.
(2) Continue to pray for a difficult counseling situation.
(3) Pray for the salvation of three.
(4) Pray for the salvation of a beggar here. He usually comes once a week looking for food and work.
(5) Pray for us for safety on the roads every day. We have had several close calls. There is a speed limit here, but the taxis and ordinary people drive way too fast and recklessly; passing in unsafe areas. Not too long ago a driver drove over six students walking to school. Four were killed instantly and two are in critical condition. We must always be alert and aware. Our God is our protection. Psalm 121: 1-8.
We covet your prayers. We pray for you always and thank God for you.
