WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - 7/5

Excerpts from their latest prayer letter:

Dear Friends,
Greetings from the north.  Ephesians, 6:10,11 says  “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

There is an opportunity developing here in this small town of Round Lake.  Down the road from us is a small radio station .   This station is run by the people in the community.   A certain amount of hours are available to different organizations  to use as they see fit.   It is mostly used to inform people of what is going on in the community or to discuss issues of concern.    The local churches also broadcast their own programs and music.   We have been told that we could also use the radio station.  Recently,  some people have encouraging us to begin some type of program.  Cindy and I have talked about this possibility and we are considering it.   Please pray that would give us wisdom about this opportunity.

Pray that God would break the power of Satan in their lives and that they would be able to stand against the “wiles of the devil.”   Pray also that God would give us wisdom as we have opportunity to talk with them.

Special Prayer Requests:
Rachelle (our oldest daughter) is finishing up her 3rd semester of college at Maranatha Baptist College.  Besides her daily classes,  she has been working in the school cafeteria to help pay for her schooling.  She is also involved at her local church and sings in one of the college choirs.  We are proud of her in how she has matured and taken the responsibility to pay for her classes.   However, she has informed us that she is $400 short of paying for this semester and has no money to begin next semester.   If she doesn’t  pay by a certain date, she will lose her credits for this semester.  Please pay that God would provide her the money to pay off her school bill and the funds  she needs to begin her next semester in  January.
