Their Recent Fall 2009 Prayer Letter: 

We have just returned to Kenya from a three week trip to Zambia to visit our children:  Daniel and Kristie, Nathan and Rachel, and five of our grandchildren.  The newest grandchild is Meg, born to Daniel and Kristie  

who was less that one month old when we got there.  We had some good family times, as well as good

fellowship in reunions with some of our spiritual children.

It was a blessing to be a Twatasha, a church started out of the church we started in Itimpi.  The special part was that I was able to give a message for the first time since my stroke.  Pastor Mukuka (one of our "children") clearly understood what I said, and interpreted for me.  There were two decisions.

Again, I was able to preach at the church we started.  The Sunday before we left, they had a 16th

anniversary celebration.  Several were in the service who were in the very first service we had there in

1993.  It was a great joy to see a good number going on for the Lord in church leadership.

We found things in good order when we returned here, and thank the Lord for those who carried on in our absence.  We were warmly welcomed back, and are thankful we can be a part of the ministry here.

The well up at the new plot where we plan to start a church, has been dug 70'.  The man digging has hit rock, and today plans to start on it with a sledge hammer!  Will you pray with us for strength, safety . . . And WATER!

It is exceptionally dry here, and we noticed it was the same all the way to Zambia.  Many, even an hour fro here are in difficultes due to shortage of water.
