Excerpt from their latest prayer letter:
From Tanzania: We are so happy for a pastor there who has received enough money from the American churches and people to finish building his Independent Baptist Church. They call it BAPTIST HURU (Independent). He thanks all of you for what you have done. He sent a bunch of receipts to us that shows us how much he had to pay for things to build the church. Of course the money is terribly inflated there. We still write to them in Swahili and send Bible verses to encourage them.
The Lord has given us a ministry here also. Since I have had 52 surgeries and also fell and broke my pelvis and have a turned hip, I wrote a tract called "Lord I'm Hurting". Since I'm walking with a walker now, I can go up to people in the doctor's clinic who are using a walker or on crutches or in bandages, and after asking them how they are, they see me with a walker also and are happy to take the tract. Young people take them also. Pray many will be saved through these tracts.
Through all I have been through lately with pain etc. and in our missionary lives the Lord has led me to write a book called "A Missionary and the 23rd Pslam". It's been printed by the same company as our book "Great & Mighty Things." I have dedicated it to my husband. It is about 32 pages and I pray it will be a big help and encouragement in this day and age, and salvation for many. The Lord can't be someone's Shepherd unless they're saved and are His sheep. On the cover is a shepherd and his sheep. They did a good job again. It cost $6.20, $1.20 is included for postage, which we have to pay back to the company.
